About Dectonics.
A Canadian engineering firm working across aviation and marine — for both defence and commercial programs.
What we do
Dectonics designs, integrates, and tests the systems that have to keep working when they are remote, unattended, and exposed to demanding environments. Our work spans systems and integration engineering, power and energy systems, instrumentation and sensing, embedded electronics, and test and qualification — including dedicated Dynamic Temperature Range (DTR) testing for AMD and Intel CPUs and GPUs.
We take projects from concept and prototype through qualification and in-service support, working as an extension of our clients' teams.
How we work
Grounded in engineering
We lead with the technical problem, not marketing. If we are not the right fit for a project, we will tell you.
Built for the environment
Aviation and marine platforms are unforgiving. We design and test for the conditions hardware will actually see — temperature, vibration, pressure, and time.
One discipline, two domains
Air and sea share the same underlying demands. Serving both, across defence and commercial work, keeps our engineering broad and transferable.
Tell us what you're building.
Send the problem, the environment, and the timeline. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
